The goal of Projekt Revolution is to bring fans and artist together from hip hop and rock to more music festivals in the U.S. Artist that have been involved in Projekt Revolution include the following artists: HIM, My Chemical Romance, Mindless Self Indulgence, Chris Cornell, Korn, Placebo, Cypress Hill, The Used, Taking back Sunday, Snoop Dogg, and Xzibit.

The first opening acts in Projekt Revolution occured in 2002, and included Adema, DJ Z-Trip, Cypress Hill, and Linkin Park. In 2003, Blindside, Mudvayne, Xzibit, and Linkin Park were the main acts. In 2004, Projekt Revolution had two stages a Main Stage, and a Revolution stage, which included acts like Ghostface Kilah, M.O.P., and Autopilot off, on the Main Stage Snoop Dogg, Less Than Jake, Linkin Park and Korn.
