These draft picks would serve as the cornerstones of one of the National Football League's greatest dynasties ever assemled winning four Super Bowls in six years. in 1992 Chuck Noll retired and was replaced by head coach Bill Cowher. Bill cowher led the Steelers to a competitor every year, and in 2005 won Super Bowl XL, behind a rookie by the name of Ben Roethlisberger. Bill Cowher resigned in 2007, and was replaced by defensive coordinator Mike Tomlin.
