Jersey Boys is a documentary musical based on the lives of the 1960's music group the Four Season and Frankie Valli. In 2006, the Jersey Boys won four Tony Awards. Jersey Boys the musical opened in 2005, at the August Wilson Theatre. Jersey Boys musical uses the groups hits song's to tell the turbulent story of Frankie Valli and the Four Season's rise to fame. Jersey Boys made over $400,000 after it opened at the La Jolla Playhouse. Jersey Boys first tour started in December 2006 at the Curran Theater in San Francisco. The Jesey Boys then first opened in Los Angeles at the Ahmanson Theatre. The next national tour for the Jersey Boys begin at the Curan Theatre in Chicago in 2007, but what switch over to the Chicago LaSalle Bank Theatre.

Jersey Boys has also debuted in London at the Prince Edward Theatre in 2008. Jersey Boys also opened in Las Vegas on May 3 at the Palazzo Hotel, opening to great reviews. Jersey Boys is also set to open in March 2009, in Austraila at the Princess Theatre, in Melbourne.
