Frank Robinson is the only player to have won and MVP in the National and American League. From 1966-1983, the Baltimore Orioles produced a contender and a force to reckon with. The Baltimore Orioles won three World Series titles, and six American League pennants, and five division American League East titles.

In 1999, the Baltimore Orioles fired Millar and Wren, and brought in Syd Thrift as the new GM and Mike Hargrove as the new manager. In 2003, Lee Mazzilli was hired as the new manager. In 2005, the Baltimore Orioles held on to first place for 62 straight days but could not hold onto first place. 2007 looks promising for the Baltimore Orioles.
