In 1993, 311 released their major album Music, the single “Do You Right”, made out well and reached #27 on the Billboard’s. In 1994, 311 released Grassroots, and the album reached number eight. In 1995, 311 released their best selling album to date entitled 311. The single “Down” came out 14 months after the album, and released a lot of popularity, and made #1 on the Modern Rock chart. 311 went triple-platinum. In 1999, 311 released their fifth album “Soundsystem”, and had a lot of success due to their singles, like “Flowing”, and “Come Original”.
